Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creators Update) Available 17th October 2017

I shamelessly stole this image from the Windows Twitter account.

I don’t usually do these news-type posts (plenty of other blogs for that) but here we are…

The next major update of Windows 10 version 1709 also known as the Fall Creators Update has been announced for 17th October 2017.

As with 1703 (Creators Update), it will roll out over Windows Update in phases and for those of us who’ll be wanting the .iso from the Volume Licensing Service Center, it should be available very close to the main release date. All the information in this paragraph is based on my experience with previous releases, and could be different this time around.

I take great care to test my ideas and make sure my articles are accurate before posting, however mistakes do slip through sometimes. If you’d like to get in touch with me please use the comments, Twitter (you can tweet me and my DMs are open) or my contact form.

I hope this article helps you out, please consider supporting my work here. Thank you.
